NEMA7 MOTOR STARTERS

Across-the-line magnetic motor starters designed for use in hazardous locations, including Class 1 Division 1 applications. With door mounted start, stop and reset pushbuttons, these starters are completely wired, assembled and ready to install. They come with pre-drilled conduit entries but can be customized to fit your application. The enclosures are made of copper-free cast-aluminum and manufactured in the United States by Adalet/Scott Fetzer. The enclosure door is designed with a NEMA 4 water-tight gasket enabling these starters to be used in outdoor applications. All NEMA7 Starters are UL listed and come with factory warranties. The internal components are IEC or NEMA rated for long-term heavy-duty applications. Circuit breakers are thermal magnetic type and are available in frame sizes ranging from 15 to 800 amperes

  • Also available as non-automatic circuit interrupters, without automatic overload trip elements for load switching and isolation.
  • Short circuit and overload protection must be provided by separate protection device
  • Breakers available for magnetic trip only
  • Can be set up for GE, Cutler-Hammer (Westinghouse), Square-D and ITE (Siemens) brand circuit breakers. Consult factory for other brands
  • Holes for Cutler-Hammer circuit breakers are drilled directly into back wall
  • Breakers also available for magnetic trip only
  • Standard configurations available for NEMA sizes 0 through 5
  • Available as a combination starter (with breaker) or
  • As an across the line starter (no breaker)
  • Starter can be IEC or NEMA rated
  • Enclosure is corrosion resistant, copper free aluminum
  • Hinged cover & internal mounting pan
